My Goal For The Next 90 Days



Hey goal-getters! It's been a while since I shared my goals and the things that I am currently working on with you so as I started to review my goals for the next 90 days (3months) I thought "why not include you in the process" and share my full, honest results once the 90 days are up!

This is going to be fun and I'm so excited that I get to share my journey with you so that you can see how I turn my goals into reality through diligence, prioritizing, and following through with my plans.

When you think about the process logically, it's pretty easy. All you really need is a solid plan and the discipline to follow the plan, right? I find that the biggest challenge comes when you try to follow your plan to manifest your goals because new internal distractions arise like fear, excuses, procrastination,  and over thinking that can steal your focus and keep you stuck trying to figure out how to overcome these struggles rather than working on your goals.

My intention is not only to inspire you and help you see that your goals are possible and you are capable of turning them into reality, but also to push you out of your cozy office, couch, or off your bed and into living your purpose! I want you to become a person who takes action and makes things happen because I can tell you right now that action is one of the key missing ingredients in your goal crushing formula. You will not go farther than your ability to push yourself and no one will do the work for you. You have to commit and work for the results you want.

How I Structure My Goals

After spending the time to craft a detailed 10-year goal plan, I begin to work backward and think about what I did at the 3-year mark to get the big 10-year result. Does that make sense? So with my 10-year goal in mind, I think of all the necessary steps I took to get my desired results, then I think about the steps I would have taken 7 years prior to getting the 10-year result.

After I have the 3-year plan written out I work backward one more time and think about the things I will need to complete this year to get to where I need to be in 3 years. I then turn this plan into my goals for 2019 and convert them into four 90-day cycles that have very clear specific outcomes. I know that simply reading this can be a little confusing so for all of my visual learners, here's an example.

Jan-March

Cycle 2:
April-June

Cycle 3:
July-Sept

Cycle 4:
Oct-Dec

This strategy is similar to using the SIMPLE goal planning method, but it's more precise. The reason this works is because you know exactly what you want to achieve (your end goal) within a limited amount of time (365 days, 52 weeks, 12 months, 1 year) so when you work backward and use the cycles it helps you to measure the exact outcomes that you want and you'll easily see where and how your strategy is working well, where it needs improvement, and what lessons you can learn from the experience.

With this system, you never lose because even if you don't get the result you want by the end of the 90 day period you will gain clear insight that will help you to plan your next 90 days better so that you will have a higher chance of hitting your target! #WorkSmarterNotHarder *wink!*

My first cycle at the beginning of this year was focused on developing myself so that I'm in a better position to achieve my goals mentally and physically. I invested a lot into resources, programs, and training that would challenge me to face my fears, overcome my obstacles, and start doing things that I've never done before (which made me uncomfortable), but were vital to my growth and overall success.

Now, we're in the month of April so we're in the second cycle. My goal for these 90 days is to create a passive stream of income. As a coach I talk to many of you who are struggling with procrastination, overthinking, being easily distracted, disorganized, and lack the knowledge to move from where you are to where you want to be (crushing your goals). As someone who has wrestled with frustration for years over my lack of goal achievement and progress, I totally get it! Pursuing and achieving a goal is not easy and although you sometimes have the tools you don't always know how to use them. Can I get an amen?

So my plan is to launch an online course that will not only address your very real issues and roadblocks that hinder your success like the things I mentioned above, but I will walk you through a simple action plan to get started and stop sabotaging yourself. This will be all about taking action.

We live in a world where information is everywhere. Anything you want to learn is available to you online. You can choose to read about it in a blog, watch an educational video or tutorial online, or even listen to good information while you commute through the city. There is an unlimited amount of resources available to you right now so you're problem isn't not knowing what to do. The problem is you.

It's been years and you're still in the same position because you haven't taken action. You're not making progress because your goals are not your top priority. You haven't fully committed to the process of making your goals a reality. You are self-sabotaging yourself and eventually, you will suffer the pain of regret for your decisions (or lack of good decisions).

This course will help you to get clear on exactly what you want to achieve in your lifetime and walk you through the steps to make it a reality. It's all about taking action baby! I'm so excited about it because I know that it will dramatically change your life if you're someone who is ready for your next chapter, ready to maximize your potential and ready to create the life that you envision for yourself.
